The department was established in the 2004. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at BIT has taken up the task of developing competent electrical engineers of high quality, capable of facing various challenges of current power generation, distribution and measurement infrastructure. The department provides in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The infrastructure and lab facilities are upgraded from time to time and provide adequate opportunities for students and researchers to learn and innovate. The course of teaching involves class room discussions, laboratory experimentation, seminars and also they encourage students to do mini projects and present technical papers, technical seminars, group discussions etc. to enrich the students with sound technical knowledge.
