Sri P Chandra Mohan is born to Smt. Lakshmma & Sri P Venkatappa on 08.10.1955 in an agricultural family at Venkatammana Halli, Pavagada Taluk, Karnataka. He completed his earlier education in rural schools upto S.S.L.C then acquired B.Sc. and M.A degrees at Bangalore. After that he pursed law and got L.L.B degree from University law college, Bangalore. He started practicing as an advocate in 1980 and had a long-standing 20 years of practice in civil cases providing legal assistance to socially and economically backward classes. He is responsible for providing justice to the needy and the deprived.He is the founder president of the Sri Venkateswara Educational Society established in the year 2000. Under the umbrella of the society he is instrumental in establishing an Engineering College, B.I.T Institute of Technology in the year 2001 to provide technical education to rural mass.

 

Chandra Mohan has spiritual bent of mind and he is inspired by Swamy Vivekananda and Shri Satya Sai Baba, Puttaparthi. He is a dedicated, socially responsible person, who conducts social service activities regularly to serve the poor and backward community through pulse polio and blood donation, health awareness programmes. He has a soft corner for the rural students and has donated books, uniforms, and computer peripherals to schools.
