Sri P Chandra Mohan is the founder president of the Sri Venkateswara Educational Society established in the year 2000. Under the umbrella of the society he is instrumental in establishing an Engineering College, B.I.T Institute of Technology in the year 2001 to provide technical education to rural mass. The objective of the college is to meet the ever-increasing demand of qualified manpower in the field of emerging areas of Engineering and Technology.

Chandra Mohan has spiritual bent of mind and he is inspired by Swamy Vivekananda and Shri Satya Sai Baba, Puttaparthi. He is a dedicated, socially responsible person, who conducts social service activities regularly to serve the poor and backward community through pulse polio and blood donation, health awareness programmes.
